We have been involved in supplying structural steelwork for a variety of projects within our area over the last eight years.
One of our first projects was to provide structural steelwork for Easdale Island Community hall which involved curved beams in a unique design
We were invited to assist in the major renovation of an Hotel. The interior had to be strengthened which provided us with a challenge to manoeuvre large structural beams through small openings i.e. windows and door .....we were not beaten and a very delicate operation ensued.
During the summer of 2006 we were asked to fabricate and fit the steelwork frames for the large rooflights at Lochgilphead Community Hospital. The frames had not been included in the original steelwork. This was a fairly intricate operation as the majority of the building work had already been carried out. The frames had to be carefully lifted over the building and slowly lowered into place.
We have noticed an increase in the demand for steel framework within new builds and renovation of existing buildings. This allows a great deal of flexibility in design and we have supplied and fabricated steelwork for many clients in our area.
